Kyongbok Palace.
Originally built in 1395 by the first king Taejo of Chosun Dynasty, this palace remails as magnificent gate. Among the five palaces in Seoul, it is the largest and most beautiful in an architectural sense.

On the second floor are display rooms full of artifacts from prehistoric timed and the Koguryo, Paekche, shilla and Unified Shilla Kingdom. On the third floor are rooms dedicated to metal art, Koryo ceramics and Chosun ceramic. The fourth floor houses rooms exhibiting artfacts from central Asia, China and Japan. National Treasure No.3 King Chinhung's Monument is also on exhibition here. Closed every Monday.

Changdok Palace.
Changdok Palace was originally built in 1405 as a detached palace after Kyongbok Palace completed. However, since the time of ninth king of chosun dynasty, Seojong, it was used as the main royal residence along with the other main Palace.

This Palace was burned down during the Japanse Invasion of 1592 but was rebult in 1611 during the region of Kwanghaegun. it is one of the most frequently Visited sites wher man-made strutures blend in harmoniously with the beautiful surroundings of nature.

Hera one can find many important curtural assets such as Halls of Injongjon, Taejojon and Songjongjon and Naksonjae Village.
Behind Chandok Palace is the tranquil Secret 'Piwon', a fairyland on intertwing paths linking wooden slopes, lotus ponds and pleasure pavilions. Originally a private retreat for the imperial family, it can be visited by small guided tours only.

Namsan Park.
Namsan Park is located on Mt. Namsan in the haert of Seoul with a variety of cultural entertainment facilities including an octagonal pavilon at the summit, the Seoul Tower an aquarium, a fountain at the summit as well as a botanical garden and a municipal library. There is a cable car to the summit.

Korean Folk Village.
Situated just 25mile south of Seoul in Yong-in near Suwon, the village is a goodway to experience some of the realities of what life was like in the last dynasty.

There are reconstructed cottages from 270 region of Korea, an Oriental medicine shop, blacksmith's and much more besides. Of special interest are the huge nobleman's mansion. Additionally, visitors can enjoy performances of farmers dance. On Sundays and national holidays there are special displays of traditional folk games.

Panmunjom.
Panmunjom is where the truce treaty ending the Korean War was signed in 1953.
Form Seoul, Panmunjom is 50km to the north and can be reached in an hour and a half. Tour participants must bring their passport.
